New Publication - Miraculous view of a nascent planet

Mid-infrared imaging observations of PDS 70 b, an exoplanet that is still in the process of formation, provide unique insight into its atmospheric properties and the mechanisms by which planets emerge from a circumstellar disk of gas and dust.
Welcome to our new Postdoc Mohan Ranganathan

We welcome Mohan Ranganathan in our group. Mohan did his PhD in India at the Indian Institute of Science in hyperspectral and spectropolarimetric instrumentation for the solar atmosphere followed by a postdoc at the Department of Physics and Astronomy, California State University, Northridge. We are excited that Mohan will further strengthen our interferometry activities in the lab with specific focus on the NICE experiment.
Welcome to our new PhD student Björn Konrad

We welcome Björn Konrad as a new PhD student in our group. Björn already did his Master Thesis and other projects with us and we are very happy that he remains part of our group working on atmospheric models and retrievals in the context of the LIFE project and potentially other future instruments.
