Exoplanets & Habitability Seminar, June 6th, 2023 at 17:00h

To-date, more than 5000 exoplanets have been discovered. These discoveries not only opened a new window to put our Solar system in context with other planetary systems, but also increased the prospects of finding life on other planets. I will discuss the current status of the search for habitable worlds, summarizing the most important discoveries and potential climates of these planets. I will conclude with discussing the current and planned missions to find extraterrestrial biological and technological life, and prospects of identifying such life through remote observations.
