Welcome Janina
It’s a great pleasure to welcome Janina Hansen to our research group as a new doctoral student! Janina recently finished her Master Thesis entitled „Local time-dependence of photoionisation as driver of diurnally varying inducing magnetic fields at Europa“ - main focus geophysics.
This thesis was part of her Master’s Programme at the Institute of Geophysics and Meteorology at the University of Cologne.
Her official start day is July 1st and she will support our efforts to further develop simulations and models to assess the habitability of terrestrial exoplanets and investigate if and how we could observationally test which planets provide habitable conditions or show even indications of biological activity.
